One thing that always brings a smile to my face is new music, which means I'm a pretty happy guy because there is so much fantastic music being made every second, it can get a little crazy! One great way to find music in this fancy-dancy internet age is to make use of music labels, as a source of new music and keeping up with your favourites!
There are thousands of labels out there, each with a collection of artists which represents them. Through the internet, they communicate with fans and provide a lot of new material for people to listen too! By following a label, you can stay current with the artists you know, find new artists that are approved by artists you already respect, and can do 147,000 other things!
Today I wanted to highlight just one, MAD DECENT. This label is the brainchild of the one and only DIPLO. Out of Phili and LA, this label supports the likes of FLOSSTRADAMU5, ZEDS DEAD, DILLON FRANCIS and BAAUER. DIPLO goes a step further by introducing listeners to MAD DECENT artists on his BBC RADIO 1 show, Diplo and Friends. One of the best, and my favourite labels in electronic music, keeping up to date with MAD DECENT has expanded my knowledge and opened me up to a bunch of new artists and styles.
