Howdy Yall! Very excited to tell you guys about the ZEDS DEAD BBC 1's ESSENTIAL MIX which came out today! The BBC 1 ESSENTIAL MIX is one of the top mix shows in the world, showcasing the best the world has to offer in EDM! It is awesome to see the Toronto native duo representing Canada on such a big world stage. Although it is sweet for some hometown boys getting a chance on the world stage, there are absolutely deserving. ZEDS DEAD formed in 2009, with producers/DJs DC and HOOKS coming together to produce their own unique fusion of hip-hop and electronic beats. After a long list of successful tracks and mixes, the boys hit it big with their HOT SAUCE EP which came out this January. They've also put out some awesome remixes of BON IVER, MARINA AND DIAMONDS and collaborations with Toronto rapper OMAR LINX. Zeds dead definitely has a uniquely dark and sinister sound, while still carrying enough diversity in their songs in portraying a range of emotions and atmospheres. We can hope for many more big things out of this duo from T.
