Exciting news today from the Icelandic band SIGUR ROS, who announced a new album called -
KVEIKUR
Coming out June 18th! Sigur ros is a personal favorite of mine, and one of the busiest bands out there. VALTARI, the bands last album, came out just over a year ago. The band also released a song from the album today, which showcases a very new and different sound for the band. Their last album was criticized for being too similar to their previous work, but it seems the band, lead by singer JONSI, is looking to take the band in a new direction. I love the band and can't wait to see what this album is like!
