Got another great producer for you today, hailing from Santa Cruz, California, we have the young 23 year old MINNESOTA. He's been putting out tracks for the last four years, and has has some recent success with hits like NEED YOUR HEART, TOKYO and ME & YOU. He's starting to blowup, with over 36,000 followers on soundcloud and a sizeable collection of original tracks and remixes. My favourite MINNESOTA track to date has been his remix of JUICY. starting off with some ethereal synths and a funky beat which is on and off the verse all the time, the song comes together into a head-bobbing, arm flailing third verse and has a beautiful build down to finish. MINNESOTA is going on tour this spring with PROTOHYPE and a favourite of mine, DCARLS, unfortunately no Canadian stops. Nonetheless, he's an awesome producer and has he has tons stuff to check out on his soundcloud!
