Debut Albums

There are a lot of ways of approaching music that allow the listener to take away different meanings from the music or understand its composition. I have found that I am always interested to know how music fits in chronological order of things. Understanding where music as a whole was at the point music was made is especially important with older music. From that, you can explore the influences and origins of the music itself.

A debut album is the first real test an artist faces in their musical career. Some of the best albums of all time have been debuts, while other accomplished artist's debut albums are relatively unknown. This lack of consistency is intriguing, which prompted be to make a little list (in no particular order) of some of my favourite debut albums. I'd love to hear what other's favourites are in the comments!
